Nice house, but what makes this "high style Prairie" instead of A&C?

Galesburg is in the Kalamazoo area and is also home to "The Acres" on the rural outskirts of town - a development with four Wright designs. I have never been in town to check out the general state of architecture there.

jmcnally,

Wrong, this particular house is located in Galesburg, IL not Michigan.

The title for this thread needs to be corrected.

Which brings up something I have noticed clicking links to newspapers, they rarely ever include the location of the paper. This particular paper does have the cities name in it's title, but many don't even have that.

Yes, I've commented on the same issue (no pun intended). Sometimes, at the bottom of the page in tiny type, will be the full name of the paper, or some other clue as to where in the USA we are now. Odd, isn't it.

Used to be that every town, big or small, was bursting to tell you who they are! I recall the year the SF Chronicle announced that, henceforth, the city would be the City -- on their pages, at least. Heh . . .

SDR, are you referring to the Sioux Falls Chronicle?

Yes, I've noticed that too! Very frustrating.

Usually there are some local ads on their pages. Just click on one of them and see what city their business is in. Problem solved.

Roderick, I was referring to the comment of Egads, immediately above mine, which (I assume) was made regarding the Galesburg, IL paper linked at the top of the page.
