Jones may have been at Taliesin for only a summer and visits thereafter, but he absorbed its essence like a sponge.

I love the rhythm of the slender operable sash and wide fixed windows....the house bristles with fine interrelated detail in every corner.

This is one of so many houses not included in the Jones book. I think another tome is in order.

What I like about Jones' is the stonework. It is almost Wrightian, but not quite, a variation on the theme, exquisite in its own right.
