It's looking good, especially considering what it went through with the clinic.
A granddaughter of the Suttons was on "Antiques Roadshow" a few years back with a perspective and some letters between her grandmother and FLW. Her booty was valued at $125K. She literally jumped for joy. So I assume all that documentation has slipped into someone's private collection, not to be seen again until it has appreciated substantially.

This house had an addition designed to the rear of the house and a garage. Then the entire interior of the house was restored to the original plan. All of this work was done for the current owners by John Thorpe.
There is also a book written on this house: http://www.mccookgazette.com/story/1463017.html

We've had previous discussions about this house:

There is no sign online, today, of the book mentioned in the linked article, from which I quote:
"Classmates from the McCook High School Class of 1959 Donald Morgan, now of St Petersburg, Fla. and John Altberg of Berkeley, Calif. and Orcas Island, Wash., were in McCook until Wednesday to verify documentation of McCook's rare architectural gem.
"With new photographs taken by Altberg, now an architectural photographer, The 100th anniversary of the Frank Lloyd Wright Sutton House is based on Morgan's 1964 University of Nebraska School of Architecture thesis of the building, first produced in 1964."
The book was expected to be published before the end of 2008 . . .

"The Sutton House" was published in 2008 by:
Cornhusker Press
451 West 2nd Street
Hastings, NE 68901
Phone: 402-463-6702
Fax: 402-460-4612
I think you need to go to the source to find a copy. I don't recall what I paid for mine. It's a fine book, with all the pertinent information. At least 3 designs were proposed, and the final went through some alterations. The new single-story addition extends north from the dining room, and was handled very sensitively.

The Korells lived in the basement while the construction went on. They were also involved with the building of a new bank building downtown at the same time.
This has to be one of the most unknown/least visited FLW homes.
John Thorpe's firm was responsible for the new addition and the restoration of the rest of the house. They did a beautiful job.
