T-West LEGO model

Post by m.perrino »

I went up to T-W to see the LEGO model. It was mind-blowing. Here are some stats : Weight : 500 lbs Size: 8ft x 4 ft approx Pieces: 200,000 Hours : 600 Cost of Pieces: $100,000 / 11 colors / 120 shapes Built by Adam Reed Tucker, Architect and Master LEGO Builder.

You can google for T.V. coverage images or visit my FB page : Michael Perrino for about 10 photos I took. The detailing is amazing, including Heloise Crista's sculptures and the moon door in-between the old green garden and the other living spaces.

You should be able to view the photos like this :

My FB Page, under my name, has a photo of the Easter Island heads. Click on "photos" then click on "Album " …..which should open so you can see the T-W LEGO images.

Good photos ! Not having visited T West, this model helps me to place things that previous visuals weren't able to.

Mr Tucker is the architect who brought the concept of models of historic buildings to LEGO . . .
