I rather own a Wright home anyday
The Graves home seems to modern for my taste. Its also kinda bulky looking. I like wrights clean lines. Graves house cant even compare with a wright house. I have visited a few Wright homes and I would chose Wright over him anyday of the week.
In the process of selecting a builder to build our wright-inspired home, we heard of a builder that built a local Graves home. I ask the builder to take me through as a part of our builder selection process. The home was very striking but mostly brought to mind the dolphin hotels that he built for Disney. The color combinations were not relaxing and the architecture

For a graver Graves design, see the new Target Wing appended to the Kenzo Tange appendix to the McKim, Mead & White original of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. I don't know what the interior looks like, but from the outside it looks appropriately Midwestern in its reserve. The splashy days of the Portland Building and the project to quadruple the size of Marcel Breuer's Whitney Museum (blessedly not undertaken) seem to be over.
