This is not a new story. The conditions at Taliesin have been deteriorating for a very long time. Who owns what, who's responsible, where will it all go when the seniors finally die off, what is the fellowship, what is the foundation, where is the divide ... these and many more questions have been asked and unanswered repeatedly for decades. Taliesin as a Gurjieffian society had a good run under Olga, but it's finally coming apart, and I doubt there is anything anyone can do to save it. The three most important things are to save Taliesin, save Taliesin West and keep the archives intact. Some of the old guard are not without means of their own (David Dodge is of the Dodge automobile family), but others are unprepared for life on the outside, and I would hope some provisions can be made for them if the end comes. This is what happens to closed societies all the time.
