FLW Buildings Owned By Colleges/Universities

Post by Wrightgeek »

Here are the buildings I came up with that are presently owned by a college or university. Feel free to add to the list if I have missed something.

1. Affleck Residence: Lawrence Technological University

2. Freeman Residence: Univ. Of Southern California

3. Weltzheimer Residence: Oberlin College

4. Children Of The Sun Collection: Florida Southern College

5. Hanna Residence: Stanford University

6. Abraham Lincoln Center: Northeastern Illinois University

7. Corbin Education Center: Wichita State University

8. Gammage Auditorium: Arizona State University

I'm not real sure about item number 6, but I thought I might throw it in there for the sake of conversation.

The university operates out of the Abraham Lincoln Center, and I presume they own it - but I don't know for sure.

Wichita State University Endowment Association owns the Allen-Lambe house. I don't know if this organization is officially part of the school.

The School of the Free Spirit in Japan isn't a university, but it owns a Wright building.

My understanding is that UC owns the Robie real estate and the Preservation Trust operates it.
