Fallingwater ? Really ? This trend of associating any modern residence with Frank Lloyd Wright has got to stop. It has infected the real estate industry for some time now; I would have thought a responsible and respected publication like yours would have avoided such nonsense. I am disappointed and worse.

What has this perfectly nice Northwest Modern residence by Allen Smith got to do with Fallingwater ? Yes, it spans a stream---but it does not "cantilever" over it, as stated in the article, nor is there any other evidence of Wright's influence to be seen. Does the writer, and by extension the Dwell editorial staff, really think that architect Smith was inspired by, or would accept the association with, Wright's masterpiece ?

Please---don't let a gaffe like this appear again on your pages. Modernism, while presently in vogue (for which we are thankful), still needs all the positive and truthful coverage it deserves and can use.
