A new post on PrairieMod.com talks about Teater's Knoll and the upcoming book to be released about it.
One of the points raised in the post talks about how even though Wright was an architect of major importance and stature, he seemingly took as much time and energy in designing commissions that most architects would see as "beneath them."
Why was this so? Did Wright enjoy the challenges of these sorts of projects more than other commissions? Are there any other modern day architects or architectural firms of the same calibur that operate in similar fashion? We'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
