I have a Google News Alert set up for Frank Lloyd Wright mentions on the web. Today it brought a link to a Minneapolis Star Tribune reprint of the (defunct) Minneapolis Times story about Wright's arrest for an alleged Mann Act violation in 1926.

There is a photo of Wright's arrest, and a link to the Star Tribune's own story from then.

Nice to see this piece. But I am more interested in reading the original article! I bet it reads like puritanical bullshit in the 21st century.
Wright truly was a hundred years ahead of his time: mostly I say this because I want him to design my home!

The interesting thing about the article is that cottage. Oh, that there were some more and better pictures of it. It was built on the site of Northome prior to the construction of the main house. There is no record of it at all. Storrer believes with certainty that it was not designed by FLW, but photographs taken by John Geiger in the early 40s strongly suggest that it was. (Who else? P&E?) It was probably the original vacation house built in 1908 when the long, drawn-out Little commission began. Apparently it was demolished in 1972 when the big house was torn down.
