Therman, the radiant heating didn't start until Jacobs I a few years later.

The house looks great. It's heartening to see one of the major masterpieces in the hands of committed restorationists. I saw the house in 2000 when it was in disrepair, and it looked great then! Hopefully Harvey Glanzer will be able to find a similarly worthy successor owner for the A. D. German Warehouse, another major work in need of TLC.

Mr. Grant. I concurr with your suggestion that Mr. Glasner do something with his other properties. Cousin Nan was remiss when she visited the house in the Mid 1980's and how it was let go and if it wasn't for Team Willey; Steve, Lynette and the boys wouldn't of had an opportunity to be such stewards.

They are creating a might fine effect and are doing it 'Right".

I disagree with Shawn on Team Willey even though its easy to dislike Harvey and like Team Willey they were connected. Harvey was the money man and the owner so without Harvey there is no Team Willey. Its also crazy to think if it wasn't for Team Willey the Sikoras wouldn't of had the opportunity to be such great stewards. The house was in terrible shape just years after Team Willey( SAVED IT ?). Two of the major repairs done by Team Willey a complete re-roof and chimney both leaked when the Sikoras bought the house, both had to be redone. The house was a mess I'm guessing 90% of what Team Willey did had to be redone. So please do not take anything away from the Sikoras amazing job of restoring a great house. This is a good example of why volunteers like Team Willey are good for unskilled labor only, leave the roofing etc. to skilled trades people.
