Would anyone who has read "The Fountainheads:Wright, Rand,
the FBI and Hollywood" care to share their opinions on this book?

It brings out a few interesting facts, such as Wright's FBI file, but I found it, on the whole, a pretty poor book. Its two biggest problems are
1. Johnson does not have a book's worth of material in his purported subject, so he pads it out with a lot of irrelevancies, like the history of the Algonquin circle, the Miller/Monroe commission, and so on, and a lot of unfounded speculation, such as why Warner's produced the movie when it did and not earlier, and why Wright didn't get the job of designing the sets.
2. He isn't up to philosophical criticism and intellectual history and doesn't seem to know it.
