The housewalk tickets are now on sale. Is anyone planning on going in May? This year they are in River Forest. I am not that excited about the houses this year. How many times does one need to see the Isabel Roberts House and the Hills-DeCaro House? It would have been nice if they included the Ingalls House because it is right next to an E.E. Roberts design which is on the tour this year. I noticed in the other post that a few people were disappointed with the selection of houses in last year's housewalk. Does the house selection determine whether you want to go or not? Or do people just go because they enjoy going every year?

I also noticed that some of you were discussing the Cheney House. I thought it wasn't a bed and breakfast anymore. I also heard that the homeowner doesn't want his house to be on Wright Plus again. The house really is in bad shape. The exterior appears to be falling apart and the gardens are overgrown. It is a shame this house can't be fixed up. I think it's one of the better prairie-style designs.

Our group goes because it's just fun to see some of these structures. I mean, last year we saw some good things and some bad things. It makes for great conversation.
