John Geiger
John Geiger's web site is at last available at <jgonwright.com> His first effort is a detailed analysis of the Oak Park House of 1889.
What a pleasure, and well worth the wait, John Geiger. I look forward to upcoming additions to this invaluable memoir and dissertation.
For me, it is particularly sweet to have confirmed a lifetime's conviction, that terms like Organic were for Wright nothing more or less than
memorable identifiers of his own work -- and not deeply invested with meaning beyond that purpose. Let us now dispense with further weighty
head-scratching about what Organic, or Usonian, might intend !
"These words are only labels anyway, and irrelevant to the work. His architecture stands on its own with or without words, probably fewer
words until scholars gain the perspective of history."
No argument there. We will hang on Mr Geiger's every word, regardless, by way of "proofing" that perspective. . .or I shall, at least.

Mr. Geiger's website is and will be a wonderful resource. I especially look forward to reviewing the information about the apprentices once it has been posted. I agree with you 100%, dkottum....Mr. Geiger has captured the essence of FLLW's architectural philosophy very well.
Many thanks to Mr. Geiger and to everyone who has assisted him in this worthwhile endeavor.

Anyone - Roderick - know why the apprentice list and the other two related lists are no longer up on the John Geiger website?

In Issue 037 of the "Journal of the Taliesin Fellows"(Summer 2011) there is a two page review of his life.

The Journal has always been available for anyone who wants it. Old issues dating back to the early 90s are available at quite a number of university libraries. One thing I've noticed, however, is that back issues are virtually impossible to find in used book stores or from dealers like J. B. Muns, so either subscribers throw them out! or hang onto them.

Searching for online information about the Journal I came upon this, from 2001. No, it has little to do with the publication at hand, but there're some items of interest, including a roster of apprentices through the 'fifties, compiled by Sara Ann Briggs . . .
