"Affordable Dreams" book re: Goetsch-Winkler House

Post by DavidC »

Saw this listing on eBay for the book Affordable Dreams: The Goetsch-Winkler House and Frank Lloyd Wright". The person listing it has a 'Buy It Now' price of $195.00.

I just wanted to let anyone who has in interest in the Goetsch-Winkler House that the book can still be had from the original publisher: The Kresge Museum of Art for $19.95 + $5.00 shipping. (I just picked one up a couple of weeks ago). Though since it was published in 1991, chances are that not many of the books remain for sale.

Paperbound, with a "turned front corner" but "no water stains or bullet holes." MUST be worth $195. . . !

Shameless.

Bullet holes...oh, that is always the first thing I ask about a book's condition. This book is way too big for vest pocket over the heart protection.
