New book - FLW: The House

just in case there is someone on this forum who is interested in this new book, it is available on amazon for a LOT less than the current bid on ebay (with 3 days to go) and amazon includes free shipping.
why are people so idiotic about bidding on ebay?

I assume you mean "The Houses"?
I agree, don't bid on ebay when it is widely available. Just saw it on sale locally (Santa Monica, CA) at the Hennessy+Ingalls store for $60 (more than the $48 on Amazon but not bad for those in the area needing instant gratification).

This is an absolutely stunning book with beautiful photographs. This a big heavy book that should not be purchased at Amazon.com. My first copy was badly beat up in transit due to its heft and Amazon.com's inept packaging. The second one with better packaging after I complained was still suffering from minor corner dings.

i got mine from amazon with absolutely no damage. but then, it only had to travel from lexington ky to louisville ky
