New Wright web site

I invite you to look at www.wrightinracine.com

a site which I developed at our newspaper, at my editor's request. It includes a link to the Conservancy on the home page, by the way. We wanted to highlight Wright's work here, and I was asked to develop a site with a 'blog' like feature that makes it interactive.

I will be writing journals or blogs several times a week on a variety of topics, not all specific to Racine. I have referenced these discussions in some of the postings, and there is an 'Add Comment' link on each one, to stimulate discussion. There are a good number of photos on the site. I also link out of the journals to relevant web pages (usually hosted by Wright properties or groups)

The site has just gone live, though I wrote a number of journal entries as far back as April, as we were planning the site. Go to the 'blogs' link on the right side of the home page. To read all the posts, click on the 'archives' link to the right of the first blog page, and then select 'September 2005' (the early journals were all posted in September, even though they may have been written earlier.

I have had to follow the newspaper's blog format which means that readers cannot initiate topics; they can only respond to posts I have put up.

I welcome your participation. Please direct any feedback, Wright news or suggestions for topics to me at: [email protected]

I find this Conservancy site valuable. I look forward to adding to the exchange of ideas through our new site rather than trying to replace any existing forum.
