FLW Monographs on e-Bay

Post by Oak Park Jogger »

No one has an opinion on the FLW Monographs posted on e-Bay? Item numnber is http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... &rd=1&rd=1.

It's a lot of money, but in the past correspondents have suggested that complete sets with all the boxes, etc., are a potential investment. How about the price on these?

Is this, possibly, the person from Brooklyn who posted on this site about a set of monographs for sale for $5K, $6K, etc?

The hardcover reprints are identical to the 1st editions, as far as I know, and the print dates can vary within sets ("In His Renderings" dates from 1984, while Vol.1 dates to 1986!). All HC editions are not readily available, and it appears the market doesn't distinguish significantly between the two, other than condition and the boxes.

Not the normal situation concerning "1st editions".
