Great house. The aerial view illustrates the mechanical retrofits not visible from the ground or within the house. California’s climate is far more accommodating to this type of work than other parts of the US.

As the story goes, Eichler's time renting the Bazett house greatly shaped his vision as a developer. But I can't say that any of the typical 'Eichler' houses seem to resemble Bazett or Usonains very much.. Interesting to see his own house though, as it seems more Wrightian..? The picture of the living room even suggests a faint Bazett resemblance..?
