Thanks, Kevin, for filling us in. It's a terrific house.

According to John Geiger's Apprentice List, Marcus Weston arrived at Taliesin on Dec. 1st, 1938.

I've changed the title to reflect Marcus Weston as the architect.

Why do people insist on blindly following trends in bathrooms which have nothing to do with the architecture?

Nice house, though.

Very special; miles ahead of some other work apparently inspired by Mr Wright's work. There is perhaps a bit of inconsistency where the planning grid is concerned---an unclear mix of orthogonal and angular, judging only by the photos ? If so, that hardly interferes with the coherence of the whole in material and detail. The unruffled eave line is exemplary.

There needs to be a "plan fairy" who bestows upon us a plan drawing for each building under discussion. Sometimes those drawings just don't exist, or have never been published.

For those who have Curtis Besinger’s book, Weston was a friend and pen pal to Besinger.

One of the last photos in the series shows an exposed CMU wall with an unresolved roof line. An unbuilt wing or carport perhaps?
