A massive Jones "rancher," unusual for him and filled with unique forms and details. As usual, the woodwork is spectacular; the home office in photo 18 is a symphony. One wonders what the original floor surface was; either wood or masonry would be a wonderful thing to find under that sea of carpet ? But perhaps carpet---better in quality and installation that what's there now---was the initial choice.
Jones's residential work often has an institutional affect, despite the luxurious materials and finishes; a club, a hotel, or even an ecclesiastical structure might have such spaces and appointments (cabinetry, hanging light fixtures). The architect treated his clients as home-owning royalty ?
It is a pleasure to see another of his houses kept in such fine original condition. Let's hope it finds an even more sympathetic new owner . . .

Those knobs on the kitchen cabinets can't be Jones', either.

This is known as The Butterfly House, and I believe may have had an institutional owner at one point.

From a Zillow point of view, the interior furnishings are important to make a product saleable. It seems obvious that whoever chose the furniture for this sale had never been in a Jones house before.
It looks like they shopped at Funiture R Us.

As there are few if any other signs of staging, I'm assuming that the furniture belongs to the present owner.
