Darwin Martin died penniless in 1935, not long after Wright had met another famously wealthy client. Wright is said to have owed Martin seventy thousand dollars, never repaid. The Martin and Kaufmann houses might represent the peaks of Wright's career in their respective eras ?

We are living in a time when, at last, digital (re)creations of unbuilt or lost Wright structures are being accomplished successfully. It is interesting, of course, to see the different styles of modeling and animation coming from various individuals and companies around the globe.
