eBay: Chairs from the Stuart Richardson House - (Glen Ridge, NJ)

Anyone considering purchasing these chairs should carefully investigate their provenance. When I visited Mrs. Richardson in her home in 1962, there were no FLlW designed chairs in the house and she said they had not had any furniture constructed other than the built-ins.
Looking at Artstor, the ninth sheet shows a dining room chair design that appears to be that on the blueprint. https://library.artstor.org/#/asset/285 ... 9039247042
There are no side chairs in the architectural set resembling those currently for sale. These chairs were undoubtedly built by a later owner and first appeared in print when the house was for sale in 2019. That was also when the dining chairs in the house first appeared in print.

The side chairs do however resemble Wright designs we have seen in other Usonians. The wood looks quite new in the photos.
