Thank you.
I bought the JMD monograph and it came today:
a generous helping of photographs and drawings.
All drawings are legible reproductions of hand-drafted working drawings.
There are a lot of these drawings reproduced in the volume - unusual for monographs and I am pleased.
A handful of the photographs are a little blurry, however.
I bought it direct from the publisher for $65 saving $20 from the Amazon price.
For sale: John Marsh Davis' Barbour House - (Kentfield, CA)
Re: For sale: John Marsh Davis' Barbour House - (Kentfield, CA)
I see 25 addresses on the Projects List at the end of the book. I'd love to prowl around on Google Street View to see what can be seen.

Here's 174 Harrison Ave, Sausalito, last year. https://www.google.com/maps/place/174+H ... 11c2g86_w1
"Collapse Side Panel"
And here's the same view, in 2011. Perhaps the house is down the drive to the right.

I was able to read this address on a drawing in the book.

There is a sign in the last of the images that SDR posts: "Public Playground," Mary Ann Sears Park, which leads to a very non-Davis-looking house with a tile roof. Very close to it, to the east, is a house accessed by a drive east of the MCM house close to the road that looks like an obvious candidate for Davis.

Go to Google Earth, then street view, then 3 D and you can rotate around the Davis house which sits behind the public park. It also appears that there might be another Davis just below it on Bulkley Avenue.
