For the time and place, the carport should feature a new Buick and a '48 Continental rather than a Porche and a Benz. Otherwise, a fine work.

FLW tried so hard to get his Jester design built. I wonder what he would have thought of Bruce's house.

Anybody heard the term "pierade" before ? I will assume that Mr Wright didn't make it up . . .

The fixed glass between the living room and the pool is an unusual revision of the Jester prototype---isn't it ? A bit counterintuitive, if not illogical ? Wouldn't occupants want to be in touch, literally or figuratively, with the water, at least in warm weather ?

Hugo continues to amaze us with his fine work. It is truly an honor to have him as a friend! I hope to collaborate with him more as we continue to breathe life into FLW unexecuted works!

I've always likes these designs with fat round piers. Like a lot of designs, it looks bigger than it is. And I also found the fixed glass counter-desirable. But is the pool purely decorative then? Not a swimming pool, but more of a man made pond?

Hugo's render is wonderful, of course, but leads me to think this design fits a southern vegetation more than a northern vegetation of Michigan.

The pool is six feet deep at the house. A plan says "Shallow pool for water lilies." No ladder or diving board is shown.
