Wrightdom---at least that cohort who are interested in everything having to do with Taliesin (or, after T West was established, Taliesin North, per Mr Wright in "The Natural House")---have Keiran Murphy to thank for her endless and ongoing explorations of the Spring Green stamping grounds and estate. It seems that no corner will remain unexamined, both as it is now but especially how it came to be that way, when it was created and when altered (multiple times, as often as not), through the media of photographs, drawings, letters, news articles and other sources near and far. She will not rest ! And so, more power to her.
The linked blog page will in due order lead the reader to the entirety of Keiran's work and reporting. (I guess nowadays, journalists regard their research as "reporting," a term I had though meant only the end product of that research. Never mind---whatever brings the facts to light, call it what you may, is to be encouraged and applauded.)

After Mr.and Mrs. Wright established the Taliesin Fellowship, Mr. Wright evidently intended to convert the space in question into a small theatre. I should have pestered Bruce into showing me any existing drawings, but, regretfully, I somehow let life in the way.

Rood - there are drawings in Artstor which show a couple of different schemes for this, including a piano (of course!).

Thanks, Hankoh ! You might be able to post a link to the Artstor file(s) in question ? It can be a long search to find what you did . . .

I should have listed the drawing references in my earlier post; they at 2501.054 and 2501.055 (sorry, I am not sure how to actually link the drawings?). It looks like there were two slightly different schemes for a "music" performance area in that space. I particularly notice the "family box" on 2501.054. I found these after being intrigued by the blueprint of Taliesin III in the GA Traveler 002 Taliesin book (pages 82-83) and have always wondered about that area of Taliesin and I searched in Artstor for some details. The drawing on that page obviously has hand-drawn changes (music pavilion) drawn over the agricultural original design. The blog by Keiran was very interesting about goats vs. pigs . . . I have only been at Taliesin once on a tour and I know we walked past that area but did not have opportunity to look at that area.
