Always nice to see a Milton Stricker design.
This one has some similarities to the one he built for himself in Seattle on a steep grade:

The interior wood lapping is always more charming than white-painted drywall.
And both homes have a lot of carpeting... Must've been in fashion at the time?
I'd imagine both would sing with living room hardwoods and area rugs.

Stricker's work always seem to have too much white on the interior...more plasterboard than wood. But the defined spaces are terrific. I wonder if there is enough material for a book on Wright + Apprentices in the Northwest. Or has such a thing already been published?
