I just received an ad from Hennessey + Ingalls for a major tome about Danish-American MCM furniture designer Jens Risom (1916-2016). Few designers had as big an impact on the post-war period. This is the first major publication on Risom.
The price tag is $125
What I know of Risom is that a lot of his furniture employed straps. Wasn't this an Aalto invention?
And does anyone know the history of Risom's "Big Chair" which is quite striking?
