Among the unbuilt Prairie designs, Woods is one of my favorites. Had it been built, by now it would be a bigger draw than the Dana House as a house museum.

My fav unbuilt prairie house is the original Booth house. Now that was a striking design. Odd to think of a Wright home in terms of how popular a tourist attraction it would be, but the Booth house would kick the Darwin Martin house's butt.
This wood model would have benefited from detail of the materials and the interplay of those materials. Monochromatic doesn't do the design justice.

wow very interesting, I've never heard about this house. I thought that I have seen all projects at "visions of wright" but this is not there (and many more). I will research about this one..!

I don't think anything could "kick the Martin house's butt"---but the unbuilt Booth is certainly complex enough, and it occupies a far more interesting piece of terrain, for sure.
Visions of Wright is a valuable resource, primarily for its presentation of visual matter, but it couldn't be as complete as are the Monographs, Storrer's "Companion," the Taschen trio or the Artstor files, and shouldn't pretend to be. Like Artstor, it is available for free online, a definite bonus. The material at Artstor fails to provide material in color, other than the photographs included with many of the entries.

I'm pretty sure this is another new house for me.
Very monumental.
