It is obvious why FLW kept what he had done, even though he was not content with the way the structures were realized. For another sample, look no further than Ennis. He didn't take the clients to court, but he did walk away from the house while it was still under construction. Upon visiting the house in the 30s, after it had traded hands, and seeing the marble floor that replaced his slate, he flew into a rage. Yet, he featured the house in his many books, realizing that it was his work on it that counted, not what others had done to compromise his vision.
