Textiles in this Stoller photo of Albert Adelman could have been Maria Kipp's work; I don't fine an image with the subject material. Note evidence of metallic thread, lower left:

This address leads me to a Wright Auctions image of the drapes as hung---but the site doesn't like my browser, and I get to "419 - page expired."

Bingo: photos of drapery as installed, here. Note Maria Kipp's name doesn't appear, but her gallerist is mentioned, along with another weaver. Item #3 is the subject fabric.

Here is the Wright20 link: https://www.wright20.com/auctions/2006/ ... design/270

It's interesting that some of the documentation credits Robert Sailor even though Kipp's tags are on the material. The fabric offered appears to be a remnant rather than one of the actual drapes. Why else would it have all these paper tags still remaining?

Thanks, Craig. That makes sense. Do all photos of this remnant show the red stain to one edge of the piece ? (I still can't access the Wright Auctions page; they really don't like my Opera browser, I guess !)
