I believe that email notifications have been restored. Now, when you make a post and check the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box, I think you will receive an email upon the next reply. I have tested this and found it to be working for me, but please let me know by reply to this post if you find it does not work for you. Thanks, and sorry for the extended delay in addressing that problem.

It appears that, once selected, the "notify me" box remains checked for the individual poster, which is a further convenience.

Ironically, reply notifications to the admin account may not be working properly. But it's a special case for a lot of reasons. Hopefully you get a notification of this message?

Not so far. I sometimes wonder about delay in the receipt of emails; I've seen some evidence of that, from time to time.

That's worrisome. Have you checked your spam/bulk mail folder?

Hmm. That's interesting; why wouldn't my gmail have a spam folder ? I hit "all mail" to see what would happen. I can't say I'm aware of missing any emails altogether---although that's not dispositive. I still have a defunct Yahoo mail account, but I can't reach it without the password, which I don't have (lost a nice hard-copy list of passwords a while back).

My email address is current in my Wright Chat profile.

I'll take any help I can get, as I'm fond of saying. It would be nice if another reader would post to this thread, telling us that the email notification is working for them.

I am still not getting email notifications of replies to a post. There are notifications in Wright Chat, but I hope we can regain the email notifications. Thank you, Eric, for any assistance you can give us!

All I will say about email is that if you are considering Microsoft Edge as your browser, DON"T! Internet Explorer was fine. Microsoft Edge is a disaster. I think they put more time and effort into deciding whether or not to include "Cutting" in the name.

GMail definitely has a spam folder, but they hide it pretty well. On my personal account, I have to scroll down the sidebar to find it. But if others are still having this issue, then it's probably not working still. I'm a little stumped, and am not going to be able to spend much more time on it at the moment. But I will see if I can figure something out sooner than later.
