TV coverage of Parkwyn Village

Post by Richard A Levin »

If you go to the Facebook page for Parkwyn Village you can find the link to a recent TV coverage done by a Grand Rapids station covering Parkwyn Village, featuring an interview with the current owner of the Brown House.

Jim Perry: ". . . he did in fact design the entire community, which includes forty different homes . . ."

Mr Perry comes very close to implying that all the houses at Parkwyn Village are Wright designs -- unintentionally, I'm sure. But some of the many
sight-seers who are said to visit the place will arrive with the expectation of seeing an unprecedented number of Wright designs, all in one place ?

Storrer: "Several houses were designed by Wright in its master plan; only four were built."
