Pennsylvania Station must have been a grand place to visit. Its replacement is about as bad as anything built in Manhattan.

Can't get too worked up about the loss of Prentice Women's Hospital. That was one ugly building.

The Garden of Allah was replaced by a mundane strip mall and a 1960 bank, where I do my banking, for the time being. New plans to demolish the entire site and replace it with a new high end mall and condo towers designed by Frank Gehry may force me to relocate my fortune.

The Brown Derby wasn't demolished, it was moved. It now stands atop a 2-story building just blocks from where it originally stood. Looks ridiculous.
