Index and such

Post by Roderick Grant »

For those of you who have been frustrated when hunting for specific information in FLW's "An Autobiography," there is a copy of Linn Cowles' "An Index and Guide to An Autobiography, the 1943 Edition" available from J. B. Muns for $125.00. Muns' email: [email protected].

For those with deeper pockets, the first two of the three portfolios published in the late 70s are available at $2,500 (#1) and $1,500(#2). A slightly less stressful amount would buy you "Taliesin Drawings," by Edgar Kaufmann, Jr. for $225.00, a classic that is very hard to come by.

Hmm. There must be items in Kaufmann's book that haven't been published elsewhere ?

There were several works that had not been published before, but have since been. From memory of Geiger's copy, I believe Hoffman's first scheme is there, and also an image of the Kauffmann's Palm Springs project.
