Review of Frank lloyd Wright: Plans Drawn to a Common Scale

Post by pharding »

Author William Storer. This is a fascinating book that addresses an important aspect of Wright's work that has been completely ignored historically, the relative scale of his houses. FLW's facility with scaling up or scaling down his residential designs is on full display here. It is interesting to look at houses that historically seemed similar to each and then view the plans at the same scale. The difference is some cases is quite surprising. I highly recommend this book.
