Only one other mention on the site of Mr Kueny:

I could swear I've seen parts of this house, or one like it -- the bedroom clerestory, and the tall-back chairs, ring a bell . . .

I think I would have like it better before it grew. What does one do with two kitchens?

This was Gene Szymczak's other home, the one he was living in when he bought and saved the Hardy House. He continued to live in whilst the Hardy House was under rehabilitation. He still had the house when he died unexpectedly December 3.

This may be unnecessarily harsh in that most mothers or mothers in law would insist on their own kitchen. I can't tell if the other kitchen is the original or maybe just a bar attached to the family room. I think the new kitchen is part of the family room addition.

Robert Kueny seems to have grasped the fundamentals of Usonian design.

Wish we had access to a floor plan. Plan and section together required for comprehensive comprehension of a design . . .?
