Roebling Suspension Bridge / Cincinnati, Ohio
I'll be traveling south on I-75 and would like to bypass the I-75 bridge and use the Roebling one. How is this best accomplished?
I usually get off at 7th street (there are a bunch of exits at mile marker 1, so follow the signs for 7th Street), and it's only a few blocks of surface street driving. Traffic backs up pretty badly in Cincinnati, though, and you might want to bail out a lot earlier. I-275 is too far as a bypass (and goes away from downtown). It is often easier to take 562 toward Norwood and then catch southbound I-71 to downtown.
From what I remember, the bridge itself isn't really marked from the freeways, except when they say "Kentucky" or "Bridge to Kentucky"

The Cincinnati terminus is right between the football and baseball stadiums, so if you follow the signs for those it should get you very close.jmcnally wrote:I usually get off at 7th street (there are a bunch of exits at mile marker 1, so follow the signs for 7th Street), and it's only a few blocks of surface street driving.
