Yeah. The rapids must be an interesting feature, and they indicate the direction of flow. I believe Henry W has said there's boating of some sort on the river . . .

The road leading up to Teater's Knoll is a 'snake' I would not recommend traversing it in wintry/icy weather unless you have an appropriate vehicle. Its a white knuckle stretch of road.
That being said the present owners have a high fence and also and a non see thru panel for the entry drive with no trespassing signs and cameras. I was able to get pics putting my camera over the fence and the short movie was taken by standing on one of the road barrier posts
Good luck James Martin!
My photos do not display the total beauty of the area
If you do get there visit the oxbow diner. Support local businesses!

Roderick: understandably you may not want to dip your toes into this water, but I have posted dozens of photographs of Teater's Knoll on Facebook in recent years, on my page, on The Wright Attitude page (Stan Ecklund), and on The Wright Legacy Page (Michael Pipher). The latter two are outstanding sources for information, mostly accurate, on Frank Lloyd Wright. Alternatively, Google 'Teater's Knoll' and you will find dozens of pictures.

I am not a Facebook fan (or Meta Platforms, whatever they call themselves these days). I would like very much to see what is posted. Perhaps Stan can post them here?
