The Guest Room at Taliesin is one of my favorite rooms, with the best fireplace, in the entire estate. I have always thought it was an odd location for a guest room, since I did not know it started out as a master suite. Now it makes more sense.

The chimney breast composed of two large stones meeting in the middle, seen in the photo in Keiran's blog post, is echoed in more than one other residence fireplace. One of these drawings even seems to indicate a tapered stone post supporting a similar pair of stones ?

The angular plan may indicate its location, namely in an unrealized "Home Building" for which a great many drawings can be found: https://library.artstor.org/#/search/Wr ... =1;size=48
