Seeing the view of Eaglefeather brought to mind the fact that Wright at times nestled his buildings into a site's topography and at other times, he chose to heroically or defiantly extend forms out from the topography. Was it the site, ...

You don't have to develop your own typeface--just expand beyond the one tired-trick pony that is "Eaglefeather." DRN has suggested several that would work well. Gotham is another: http://www.typography.com/fonts/gotham/inside/gotham Although Neutraface is starting ...

I can see a foxy typeface being used for a title, but style of typeface for text should always be subordinate to clarity, and Eaglefeather is inadequate in that respect. For anyone trying to get from here to there on public transportation, information is more important than decoration.

Well said, SDR, and right on the nose.

"Eaglefeather" in not, in and of itself, a bad typeface...it's just been so lazily overused as a default FLLW font that it is now a cliche.

It should be rested for awhile.

The Eaglefeather perf design is right at home with the Hoffman (55) built perf. The "reclining triangle" shape is basic to many designs. The elevations ...
