Hello, gentlemen! Pleased to return to this chat room and help with this wonderful model that Chad is making with your incredible help. I'm going to start modeling the furniture, from what I see in the drawings I would say that the chair is the Spindle Cube Chair: https://lakeimagesweb.artic.edu/iii...

 I see.

The default Flickr viewer is a bit rudimentary and does not allow zooming or shrinking perspective. Thanks for the feedback, I'll work on it.

Good lord, that is amazing. To stand in the atrium of the Larkin Building and look up ... you can _feel_ the massiveness of the space. And if you ever reach the point where you can link multiple 360 shots of Pauson, moving from one view to the next, well, I may never again return to reality. Thanks...

Some cool 360 images of the projects I've done so far: http://www.hookedonthepast.com/virtual-reality/ And an application to view the Larkin building in 3d on the smart phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.isostopy.Larkin.VR Please, download the application and tell me what you t...

Nice work Mr Khan!

An spectacular design, these overhangs must outstrip those of Fallingwater.

I'm curious to know what software Mr. Khan uses. hopefully he can join the chat soon.

I agree with Tom, Thanks SDR, and I would love to be in that dinner! About the " extravagant waste of space " springs to my mind the famous quote by Oscar Wilde "“We can forgive a man for making a useful thing as long as he does not admire it. The only excuse for making a useless th...

Yes. It appears that the more coherent plan reflects what's seen in the section drawings. I'm sorry this plan wasn't available to you from the start. Anybody want to hazard a guess about why the parallel walls to the first bedroom and the hall appear to be identical ? Perhaps what appears to be gla...

SDR, thanks for the drawings, I did not know the first floor plan that you have linked. It presents what seems a more evolved design of the floor plan, with the hallway to access the bedrooms in the upper part of the drawing

Thank you! SDR: I appreciate the suggestions to differentiate the materials, I had not noticed the little contrast they offer. Rood: I still have to work inside. One thing that strikes me is the fact that there are no perforations to illuminate that dramatic fireplace with natural light, such as the...

I think the same as peterm. In the confusion of the first moments I thought the chat has been erased ...

I had not felt so much panic since my mother caught me as a child breaking a vase at home.

By the way, the new design seems excellent to me, more visual and friendly. Congratulations.

SDR: I read this long thread with much interest and even intrigued, to a large extent, because of the "mystery of the row of perfs" (Fortunately at some point in the thread the mystery is solved) This great video: Https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3DlM7IhZl4 It is the only document with cer...
