Comparing the sales photos to the plan in Storer's book, I haven't figured out where the breakfast nook is?

When they state it's a 2500 sq ft house, does that include the finished basement areas?

Also - a "fully renovated" house for eight hundred grand and it's still got window units?

Am I alone in actually liking the porte-cochere? My problem with this house, besides the screen door, is that the fenestration looks very bland. Maybe it's just the color of the trim? Kissam looks just fine with the same arrangement.

The arrival of the books reminds me of a question I keep forgetting to ask about Ravine Bluffs - what is the unsightly door at ground level on the front elevation of the Kier house?
