From the top picture in the ArchRecord article it looks like that interior columned sconce is centered on the elevation - never realized that before, will need to check plans and see. Cool. .... it's a relationship, in any case, I've never noticed in this house before.

Aha. Thanks for the pic here. Hard to imagine Wright closing that up which is what I had thought before seeing these shots.
Again, gorgeous place and impeccably maintained.

I'd forgotten about the Domino's building too. Is there a collection of Wright artifacts there as well? Can't tell much from the website.

Yes! Lafayette Park, I'd forgotten all about that! Thank you or I may have missed it. I'll be sure to see the Noguchi. My brother in law works in the "RenCen" so that is where my walking tour will begin. ...just checked Google. Are you talking about the Hart Plaza Fountain for Noguchi righ...

I'm in Ann Arbor and Detroit for a week. Aside from Smith, Affleck, Turkel, Palmer, and Cranbrook, what should I not miss? I'm open to anything.

Gorgeous place.
Page One of this thread.
Fourth shot down from the top: siting along the roof of the bedroom wing terminates in the living room roof and a vertical brick pier. to the right of the pier and under the roof is a dark triangular area. Is that glass?

Second, the vertical stakes in the form work that hold the horizontal boards against the risers - at what point are they removed and ar...

I appreciate this comparison. You are obviously right about their relation. Can you post plans?

He's experimenting in these houses don't you think? Looking for newer combinations and pathways, maybe not yet fully coherent as in his grand slams and home runs.

Interesting comparison.
Steel Mullions at Neils? That seems quite a break for the old man.

Glore owes some to Mossberg it seems as well:
