About the tiles: I recall reading, years ago, that the tiles were "bestowed" only on a projects when FLLW was particularly pleased with the outcome or was fond of the clients.
I'm sure that others here know more of this than I do?

Yosemite Falls and Glacier Point are doable day hikes if you start early enough in the day. Half Dome is a two day venture if you go to the top of the dome.
