Don't forget, people are coming into California as fast as others ae leaving.
In spite of our current difficulties, California is still an unbelievably fine place to live.
Los Angeles and evirons are only one fifth of the state areawise. The best part of the state is north of the Tehachapi Line.

I agree (about disagreeing). If the block is bonded to the mortar then the assembly is a composite element and all connected components are working. If the blocks are of minimal density, as is sometimes the case, they are making a proportionally smaller contributation.

It looks like it is right above China Beach. That was our favorite (good weather) after-school hangout when I was in HS.
