My peeps in Lakeland tell me that the city itself escaped severe damage - safe enough that it is sending its utility workers to Tallahassee, where the damage is much more severe. There are a few downed trees in Lakeland, and there was a lot of rain from the storm.

I didn't see a reference to Wright, but it noted that the house was designed by Charles R. Stinson as his own home. I like the use of color as an accent - similar to what Alden Dow did with his work.
