Hare trigger time outs have been an issue on other sites I visit. A bit of complaining (or maybe just a matter of course upgrade) has fixed it everywhere. It may be fixed here once everything is done.

I think both the sign in and writing a long post or reply are related to the sites ability to keep you logged in.

As I said, it would be nice if they did not break it before they were ready to launch it's replacement.
