I can't find anything on my Flickr pages that indicates the possibility of Web hosting. Sorry if I mentioned Flickr preciously as a Web host possibility. "Sharing" apparently means making photos available to a group of your friends. There is a "blog this" option above a photo whe...

That IS a strange portrait of Mr Wright. Maybe it's the haircut. I have been thinking about gathering an assortment of photos of the man, from the various books in my collection, precisely because he looks so different in so many of them. Perhaps this one will spur me to follow through. (It was year...

The process requires that you have a web hosting utility. Others have reported using one of the free ones like Shutterfly, Photobucket or Snapfish. I have a Yahoo Small Business Web Host account. When I want to post an image here, I export it from the photo library to the "documents" file ...

Perhaps the material being installed is single-thickness coated glass ? That was my assumption. . .

A particularly nice photo, and an appropriate and appropriately-rationalized offering on the part of the owners, in my opinion. (I note that they haven't "blown their own horn" here on Wright Chat.) I hope that many will take advantage of this certainly harmless -- and, we trust, not actio...

Odd, aren't they. At the other end of the scale, Goetsch-Winckler has no chimney at all ! If the order of entries in the Monographs reflects strict chronological sequence of events at the Taliesin drafting tables (I'm not sure if that's the case or not), Lusk follows both Jacobs and Hoult. I sort of...

If anyone sends me a scan or photo, of the Lovness cottage plan or anything else, I will display it. . .

The stonework at Lovness is particularly poignant; the shots with snow mounded on each projecting stone are lovely, if almost too perfect.

W A Storrer's plan of Rosenbaum II :

On Hoult II, note that further expansion is envisioned; this would have made the plan a true pinwheel, perhaps the only "small" Usonian so arranged ?

I agree. Here are the two versions of Hoult (thanks again to Mike for showing these in his interesting photoset): http://sdrdesign.com/HoultPlan.jpg Hoult I http://sdrdesign.com/HoultTwoPlan.jpg Hoult II And two more "polliwog" plans (as Sergeant calls them): http://sdrdesign.com/GarrisonP...

I don't see how that can be denied. A gem was "monsterized" -- at least on paper (I haven't seen the property). In effect the plan was "Siamesed" -- a second (little) house was added on the other side of the gallery wall. http://sdrdesign.com/RosenbaumSepia.jpg This heavenly view...

I suppose it would be in Monograph 7 or 8, which I don't have.

Am I the only only one with a digital camera and a computer ? :D
