Palli : Not to drive you INSANE - but here is some additional information and a correction : Look at the cover of FLW Selected Houses 3 T-W. The structure jutting out, to the right of the petroglyph and just in back of the reflecting pond is also called the Annex. As stated earlier, this space was o...

Ok Palli - perhaps I can lend some assistance. Open the book to pp 86-87. On the left is the drafting room. In back of the petroglyph rock you see large windows and a door on the left. This was sometimes referred to as the annex. Basically it is just a step down dug our lower area, 4 ft x 8 ft ( wil...

Hitchcock FLW Collection

Just notifying everyone that the FLW Archives was the winning bidder in the B & B auction of FLW material previously held by Henry Russell Hitchcock. Tremendous kudos to BBP, Indira, Oscar et all for this fantastic acquisition.

ditto to all above. Bartlesville Community Center is a fantastic facility. David Dodge was involved in a major expansion of the theater end of Gammage several years ago. I hold Wes Peters in high regard. His contribution to the total FLW-T-TW story is multifaceted.

Palli - thanks for the info on the box project exhibition. Looks like I will be trying to figure out how to get to Bartlesville ! Was there for two days back in 2007. Also, box projects continue to be a key element of the school.

Bugatti sounds interesting. I'd vote for a Maybeck for FLW & Olga. Wes would have a Maserati Quattroporte and the apprentices would be driving Smart Cars.....

although I have never read anything definitive, I would have to believe that in the early days they picked up Route 66 in St. Louis, 'visiting' FLW owners along the way - - - If I am not mistaken, different routes back and forth were always encouraged. good luck on your mission.....

This house is not a part of the 'legacy' group. Was not by FLW. As stated by those above, it was designed by Charles "Lath" Schiffner, probably under the TAA banner. The name Presley came from the developer of the housing development, which is now known as Ahwatukee or Ahwatukee Foothills,...

Greetings All: I have been a reader of the New Times for many many years and they are not always sympathetic to FLW or T-W. I either missed this article or have it stashed away with all the other tons of FLW, T-W associated ephemera - or because it was such a hatchet job, I might have throw it away ...

Dan : I am very sorry for your loss. If there were someway that I could take this burden from you, I would do so, without hesitation. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, during this difficult time.
